The musicians of Not On Call come from diverse musical backgrounds, united by a unique commonality – our occupations! We are physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who work collaboratively at 

Jersey Shore University Medical Center. 

Together, we are devoted to the practice of Cardiovascular Medicine.

Not On Call was founded in 2015, sparked by the idea of creating a band among healthcare workers. What began as a late-night conversation roaming the hospital hallways evolved into a band whose bond and passion for music (and each other) has allowed us the good fortune of partnering with a multitude of life changing healthcare organizations and charities. And most importantly, brought the love of live music to the community at the Jersey Shore. 

From the pulsating rhythms of rock to the soul-stirring melodies of jazz, we, as physician-musicians, defy convention. 

Our music serves as a testament to the multifaceted nature of human creativity and the boundless potential of those who dare to pursue their dreams.
